Ok, so it's a crazy thought and totally far fetched but I know I would seriously buy one if they made advent calendars for counting down the release date of Advent children. And yes I know that's not the point of advent calendars because they are for Christmas, but the word advent and couting down just made me think of it. So uuummm sorry if I offended anyone, I didn't mean to.
Also as a side note I'm really jealous that America has been given a release date as we / I've not heard anything yet.

OMG - what a great idea! I wonder how hard it would be to make those calendars... I need to get some sort of system in place; it'd be fun. And it would be a great excuse to eat chocolate! "But I HAVE to eat chocolate; the calendar told me to!" Good thinking, Klik! *hugs* Let me correct myself here; there's no "official" release date for America as my information came from Wikipedia. I, yeah... sort of check there a lot of FF things. Someone must have caught wind of the release date and posted it on Wiki, so it may be accurate, but it could be complete bull too. And what is our experience when it comes to English release from Square Enix? Delays, delays, delays... Here's to hoping. *looks around for a glass to clinky*

*clinky* I'm considering making my own chocolate advent calendar if someone else doesn't. <.<

Anything that associates FF7 with chocolate is a winner in my book. Slobber, slobber. I'm sorry for being a silly American! D: June 7, babeh!

Hi guys
Sorry its been a while but life has been busy busy busy.
On the plus side I found these wonderful little bits regarding the Advent Children Blue ray edition and wanted to share.
1st is a more recent trailer - no English I'm afraid but still very nice to watch.
The 2nd is something which I know Angel will love so this is for you (it's got Zack in it ;D ;D ;D ;D so have tissues on standby in case of drool). Also be prepared to see Cloud get seriously beaten, it made my heart ache so be warned.
It's a cut scene from the final battle in AC and has English voices, all thanks to danlim7 on youtube and I am so pleased it was posted. You'll see why once you've watched it. ;D

OMG - Klik, I love you forever now that you've shown me these. I'm sorry I can't reply to you or tell you suficiently how much I love your last few posts as I'm sort of out of time (like, ten minutes ago) but I swear I'll get back to you Wednesday! *hugs and kisses Klik* You're my hero!

Also Angel once mentioned something about Denzel and some other stories about his past to me and I was wondering if this was part of it ? I just realized that I got so wrapped up in the Zack footage that I haven't responded to the second half of this post. Sawee. Yes, this looks like the movie footage for the novel I read titled "On the Way to a Smile", which is the story of how Tifa and Cloud came to care for Denzel. Although the novel is a little more detailed, starting with Denzel speaking with Tseng (I believe) this may be a little bit of that story. Oh! I hope they add that on the Blu-Ray release! There's another novel I read called "Maiden Who Travels the Planet" about Aerith *cringes* but there is a Zack appearance, so I was happy. Anyone else read these novels? "On the Way to a Smile" was included in text form with the special edition of AC boxset thingy. I own too many copies of that movie...

This is true, this is true; you can't have too many copies of AC. I own a lot, though. A lot, lot. Anyhoo - if you're interested, here's the links to the Final Fantasy 7 novel: "The Maiden Who Travels The Planet". It's not overly long, but is a nice wrap up of Aerith and a few other characters she meets in the lifestream. Chapters 1-3triquetras0.spaces.live.com/blog/cns!E0DED3BA01EF3BFF!351.entry Chapters 4-7triquetras0.spaces.live.com/blog/cns!E0DED3BA01EF3BFF!352.entry Also, if you want to read the prologue to Advent Children, "On The Way to a Smile" about how Denzel came to know Cloud and Tifa, the novel can be found here: www.adventchildren.net/ff7ac/extra/prologue/1-1.phpThere's four chapters to this novel and I believe they are incorporating this novel into an extra episode or as part of the Blu-Ray copy of Advent Children based on the YouTube links Klik posted previously. Let me know what you think?!

Thanks for the links Angel, you're an ... angel ;D I haven't had chance to check them out yet as have been a little bit busy, but will do as soon as possible. I actually got an email alert from Play.com about the chance to pre-order an English copy of Advent Children yesterday and according to their dates we won't see it here until 13th July 2009. so unfair. Is it wrong to want to have a tantrum over this, I can't decide. On a side note I have heard a rumour that one of the bonus features with the Blu-Ray edition is the inclusion of an animated retelling of 'On the way to a smile'. Or at least the first part of it. The rumour goes that it's like a taster to see how people respond and if it goes well they might release it as an animated feature in the same style as 'Last Order' (the one which originally showed what happened to Cloud and Zack's before Crisis Core was made) Please don't hold me to this, as you know what rumours can be like, but it would be nice wouldn’t it?

*smiles and flutters wings* Me? An angel? *blushes*
I think it’s funny how it’ll take over a month from our release before you will see it. I mean, it’s not like we speak a different language. I wonder why that is. I told my friend (who works at a media retail store) to put my name on the first copy of AC on Blu-Ray he sees. He knows of the consequences if he fails me on this one. *evil eye* I made sure not to be working that day so I can pick up my movie and watch it that day.
Now, this is me getting my hopes up. We all know how Square Enix has delivered in the past regarding English release titles. I’m talking about delays, delays, and more delays. I swear, if there is one delay on AC, I’m going to… *ponders* What can I do… *light bulb* I’m going to cry! Yes, I’ll cry and be sad. *grumbles* That’ll show ‘em. Klik, tantrum away. I’ll join you if you want company.
The rumour you heard about “On the Way to a Smile” must be correct because I can’t see how they’d fit that into AC and the fact that we’ve seen the animated pieces from that story means that they must be including it with something. I should have got a better look at my friend’s Japanese copy… *grumbles* And he’s out of the city for a week… I hope they go through with it. It’s a nice story (if you haven’t read it already).
