For those of us who -couldn't- play DoC because we suck so much at first-person shooters, does anyone know of the secret ending to the game? (YouTube is my friend.) After the credits there's an additional cut-scene. Now, I'm not sure who one person is, but people say the other guy is none other than Genesis himself. He picks up this unconscious guy and says: "It is not yet time for slumber. We still have much work to do... my brother." then out comes a single black wing and off he goes into the sky. The only thing is, the general consensus is that this is, in fact, Genesis, but this dude from DoC doesn't sound like Genesis. He even has this accent thing going on. He looks enough like him, though not exactly. Has anyone else seen this? If no, check it out on YouTube (DoC secret ending) and let me know what you think. If it is actually Genesis, then it's like they're setting another game/story up. *crosses fingers* Please not another shooter game...

From what I remember of an old conversation about the game it is Genesis you are seeing, but one which was done before Crisis Core was really focused on in detail. I also recall reading somewhere that the person who voices him in this game is not the one they used for the Genesis in Crisis Core (at least for the English version anyway). This explains the different accent which can be heard. As for the possibility of another game I can't really say. The cut scene certainly leaves it open for that option but since then they have done CC, FF XIII and now Dissidia, so I can't imagine it will come anytime soon if they do make one. I know it's not much but I hope that helps

Hey, that clears it up a bit. I suppose other than voice, everything else points to Genesis and Crisis Core was still far away at the time of DoC's making. That was the only part that confused me, the voice and accent. It does seem a little ar fetched that they would be making a sequel to DoC, but I was thinking more along the lines of a continuation of Genesis' story. It just seemed like an odd way to conclude a game, having a mysterious character carry away some guy (who I assume played a role in DoC) stating that they still have a lot of work to do. Especially with the climax where he called him 'brother'. *shrugs* I'm not overly concerned about it; if it's anything like DoC I won't -need- to see it straight away. I'll buy it because I'm a FF7 addict, but I probably won't play it immediately.

lol. I love Genesis, the crazy assed bastard. xD I certainly think that there HAS to be more to his story than they've made so far. ><
