Yeah, and added to that, he crossdresses! Oi... Then there was the Gi Tribe's boss, the Indian Ghost. *mutters something about it not being fair when her enemies use fire because then she can't go pyro on them* The first time I fought him, well.... Read for yourself. Cuzosu: Okay, this is the last time I try this.... *has said this three times already* PHOENIX DOWN!!! *chucks said item at the ghost* Ghost: *dies* Luki: What are you so cheerful about? *just came down the stairs* Cuzosu: I just nailed that friggin' Indian Ghost with a Phoenix Down!! ;D *cheering herself on* Luki: You what? HOW?? Cuzosu: What do you mean, how? I went down to items, chose Phoenix Down, and picked the Indian Ghost as my target. *stupid-simple logic* Luki: *glare* Very funny. What I meant was, how could you hit it with one when Mom and I couldn't? And we tried more than once. Cuzosu: *suggests* The game favors me over you, since I'm its owner? Luki: .... Sometimes I hate you. *walks away* Cuzosu: *calls out at his retreating back* Ahw, you know you love me!! ;D

Providing it hits them.... The ones on the games I play always seem to be obscenely adept at dodging. Of course, it's pathetic when people don't seem to realize that (in my experience) every Final Fantasy game has an undead boss that can be killed using cure or life magic or items. Like the Abaddon in VIII, the Lifa Tree in IX, and, as mentioned, the Gi Tribe's Indian Ghost in VII. But if you don't use the curative stuff, those bosses are much harder to beat. *one time beat the Lifa Tree in less than three turns, which was hilarious and offended her bros* Sometimes I try to beat the Indian Ghost without using cures or anything on him. I usually wind up cursing at him and throwing that resolution to the winds.

You guys are insane... No wonder I love you so much!
The only times I can remember talking to myself during the game (although I did do it a lot) was:
1) Flashback when Cloud is making -the- promise to Tifa. Angel - "Kiss her you poor excuse for a chocobo! Damn it all to hell!"
2) The amazing unfortunate death of Aeris (Aerith). Angel - <insert random cheering, laughing, and dancing here>

Lol. Well, I don't really like Aeris, either. I mean, she wears PINK, and she dies WAY early in the game.

*looks around nervously for gal* And Aerith is useless during the game and she tried to convince Cloud that she loves him even though she's just replacing Zack with him and she constantly needs saving and she makes best friends with flowers and she... ugh.. Spoppy tattle on Angel?

And Aerith is useless during the game and she tried to convince Cloud that she loves him even though she's just replacing Zack with him and she constantly needs saving and she makes best friends with flowers and she... ugh.. She had the most useful healing limit breaks in the game. D: The plot could not have moved forward without her and the game could not have existed without her. You don't think that she could have loved Cloud as much as she loved Zack? After all, he did incorporate a lot of Zack's memories and personality into his own character for a while there. So if someone you loved had died, and you found someone who acted like them, bearing the same characteristics that you had adored in your former beloved, you wouldn't attempt to try to be a part of their life and hope that they would be a part of yours? I know that I would think I had been blessed to be given a second chance, though always keeping in mind in the memory of my love. And she did; she never forgot Zack. She mentions him frequently. Aeris always demonstrated the most extraordinary character in the game. She was brave; she was kind; she was loving. It couldn't have been easy for her to go to the City of the Ancients - to which she'd never been before and had no idea of the dangers that may have been on her journey there - to pray for Holy and to try to save the Planet. She didn't show fear of Sephiroth or Shinra, even when the former threatened her and the latter tried to experiment on her. She kept a brave face and held it out. I always admired her character so much for the way she took everything in so calmly when she learned that she was part Ancient, and the last of her kind. So many other characters in that situation would have (and have, in similar circumstances in other games) freaked out, saying they didn't want that responsibility and they didn't want to be different. Aeris just knew that was what she was born to do, and she did her best. And she was ALWAYS a good friend to Cloud, even after she was dead. She could have said, "Screw those guys, they let me die," but she never even thought about it to the best of our knowledge. She always forgave even though she said it wasn't Cloud's fault, and she was there for him in Advent Children lending him her strength and support the whole time. As for the flower-selling and sky-falling: The bottom plate was a disaster. It was like the real life ghetto from how they portrayed it in the game. There was little foliage down there, but flowers were a sign of the Planet, and Aeris brought nature back into the lives of those living on the bottom plate. They were living in a cement jungle, stuck in their civilized lives, and she tried to remind them that they had the Planet to thank for life, food, and water. I can't actually remember everything about the sky phobia, but keep in mind: She lived with METAL PLATES suspended in the air above her head. Those things could crash down at any time (didn't one fall after Avalanche blew some stuff up?). If it was truly the SKY itself that she was afraid of, it was because she'd never seen and experienced it. Everyone had some degree of fear of the unknown. I just wanted to give some reasons why I admire her character so much instead of just saying, "Hey, I like her. D:" ...Which I do! ♥ I think she's an amazing, strong female character who shows exceptional maturity. But I love everyone and everyone's opinions. EDIT: Spop didn't tell me. XD I wandered her on my own and lol'd at you gaiz talking about me.

Agreed Aerith was important because she had to die to move the story along and give cloud more guilt and doubt
