I know--it runs in the family as well as the friends, so I learned THAT particular truth early. If I hadn't, I'd have been one miserable person, because even my family tended to think I was odd.

This is true. Why is it everyone I know EXCEPT some of my family understands that? *has a flashback to a poster one particular seventh grade teacher had on a wall* *reads poster* Bang head on wall here. *sees circle* Hey, it's even almost exactly at head height!

*jealous* But I suppose I do have enough to occupy my time now.... *thinks of the things she has to write, the work she has to do, the friends/family/pets that also demand her time* I feel a little swamped. Wish I had more time for playing games....

There is always time for fun and games remember all work and no play makes jack go on a murdering spree straight out of a stephen king book

Ooh, which book though? *cough* Sorry, feeling particularly bloodthirsty there.... *puppy whine* I want payday.... This is a game I want to get.... And I do have things to entertain me--little kids I babysit, animals I take care of and live with, my books, my stories, and my artwork and games. It's just that I rarely play the games lately.

Haven't read it, sadly. But Rose Madder was a particularly twisted tale, too.... The movie was totally botched, though.

The movies are mostly always botched except for Pet Semetary, Christine, 1408 and Creepshow. Cujo i didnt like because they warped the ending

Seems to me just about anything that translates from one thing to another--i.e.: movies, books, games, etc.--always winds up at least a bit warped. In Lord of the Rings they left out the Dunedain! *cries*

movie adaptions rarely work. comic book or video game movies are proof of this
